Pesakh Apple Crisp (D)

Ingredients

Apple Mixture

5 mediumGranny Smith apples
½ Cgranulated sugar
1 tground cinnamon
2 tlemon juice

Crisp Topping

½ Cunsalted matzo meal
1/3 Cgranulated sugar
¼ Csliced almonds
2 Tbutter, melted
1/8 tsalt

Directions

Apple Mixture
1Grease 9 x 12 baking dish.
2Peel, core, and cut the apples into ¼” slices.
3Toss apple slices in lemon juice; add in sugar and cinnamon; spoon into baking dish.
Crisp
4Combine matzo meal, sugar, almonds, melted butter, and salt.  Sprinkle over apple mixture.
5Bake at 350º for 60 minutes or until browned.
